Sarah moved to San Francisco in the Fall of 2015 in pursuit of her first “real” job and a new adventure. After a few years developing a love-hate relationship with the Bay Area and all its quirks and charms, she finally surrendered. During the pandemic, she moved to the East Bay in search of a change of scenery (and more affordable rent). She bravely traversed the unpredictable Oakland dating scene, braving the dating apps until she found her match…

Nate also moved to San Francisco in 2015, Chicky Chicky. Nate’s story is so amazing and he is the best guy I know I love him so much he is mine forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever <3
Our Story
On our first date at Roses’s in Oakland, we discovered that we had a mutual friend (— shout out to PK!). With this discovery, Nate flipped on #RecruiterMode, peppering Sarah with questions and leading to the realization that they even more in common — a love for travel, cross-cultural connection, art, and Oakland — which carried the conversation through the night. Fast forward nearly 5 years later, and our story has only gotten richer. We can’t wait for you to join us as we begin our next chapter together.
